Two Winslow teenagers were killed and three others were injured in a rollover accident two miles south of town on Route 99 Friday afternoon.
The teens were driving north toward the city at more than 100 mph when the sedan they were in came over a small hill. According to police, the driver, Amanda Guzman, 17, lost control and over compensated causing the vehicle to roll several times.
None of the occupants were wearing their seatbelts causing several to be thrown from the car.
Noe Cisneros and Bianca Enriquez, both 15, were pronounced dead at the scene. Guzman was taken to Flagstaff Medical Center and was listed in fair condition as of Monday morning.
Sammy Cereceres, 17, and Jonathan Beecroft, 15, were treated and released from Winslow Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service for Enriquez was held yesterday at First Baptist Church.
Cisneros was laid to rest this morning after a service at Madre de Dios Catholic Church.
