Greyhills Academy grads urged to keep cultural ties<br>

TUBA CITY — Dr. Timothy Begaye urged the 2004 Graduates of Greyhills Academy High School to be responsible and make good choices for a healthy life, strengthen their cultural foundation and determine a course of education for success.

Dr. Begaye, assistant professor at Arizona State University, Education Leadership/Policy Studies, was the guest speaker at Greyhills Academy High School commencement exercises on May 21. Originally from the Hard Rock community and an alumnus of Tuba City High School, he said he was glad for the young men and women because they were making a transition from high school to college or to making a living.
