Wells is a graduate from Northern Arizona University and has a rich history in northern Arizona newspapers. His family has been in the newspaper business in Arizona for three generations.

Wells is dedicated to the tradition of community journalism and in-depth coverage of issues important to readers.

“I am excited and proud to take this position and will strive to help build a better newspaper to serve the needs of the Winslow community,” Wells stated.

The Winslow Mail will continue to be published and delivered Wednesday mornings. The Reminder will now be published only on Tuesdays and will change to a newspaper magazine format for free household delivery.

“We will be refocusing our coverage of local community, school and business news to better serve Winslow,” Wells said, “I am looking forward to working with the staff and community towards this goal.”

The smiling faces who will continue to serve you are Shauna Romero, Cressent Buckles, Dawn McCauley, Brooke Hodges and Paul Hunt.

McCauley, the two publications ‘Advertising Manager’, said “We’re excited about this new opportunity to better serve the community and we look forward to continuing the great relationships we have built with our advertisers. Together, we will create the best Winslow Mail and Reminder possible.”
