Winslow High School celebrates Homecoming 2003

This float was one of many seen during the Homecoming Parade before the big game last Friday.

On Friday, the festivities continued with the annual Homecoming Parade. As in years past, each class and several organizations had a float. The Bulldog football teams, support squads and the WHS Marching Band all took part in the parade.

The senior class took this year’s Best Float honors. The junior class took second place with the sophomore and freshman class placing third and fourth.

The Homecoming game followed the parade at 6:45 pm where the crowd cheered on the Bulldogs as they took on Monument Valley to a 48-0 victory.

The Homecoming dance held on Saturday, October 11 ended the week’s festivities.

The dance was open to current students as well as WHS alumni.
