Benders will play at Greyhills

Little League annual meeting

Tuba City/Moenkopi Little League will hold its annual meeting at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 22. The meeting place is the Eubanks Conference Room in the old hospital building (just off Main Street) at Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation. This is a chance for anyone interested in helping Little League get ready for the 2004 season or find out information about coaching. For more information, call Pat O’Connor at 283-5256.

Hisot Navoti Conference

On Oct. 23 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Black Mesa Trust will host a Hisot Navoti Conference at Hopi Veterans Center in Kykotsmovi. Come listen to Hopi elders and guests from various Southwest Pueblos share their knowledge about tribal migrations and the importance of water. There will be an evening water blessing ceremony by special Aztecan guests. There is a $5 suggested donation for this event. The conference is free for Black Mesa residents

Navajo taco sale in Flag

There will be a Navajo taco sale 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16 at Kinlani Bordertown Dormitory, 901 N. Kinlani Road, Flagstaff. The cost is $5 a plate with proceeds benefiting Girls Senor Class of 2004. For more information, call 774-5279 or 774-5270.
