NAU hosts Tribal Symposium<br>

FLAGSTAFF — Tribal leaders met Nov. 6 with Northern Arizona University President John D. Haeger on campus to explore how the university and Native American tribes can work together for the success of Native American students in higher education.

NAU’s Native American Commission, including Joshua Mihesuah, Laurence Gishey, Octaviana Trujillo and Virgil Masayesva, worked with Haeger to provide an opportunity for tribal leaders to talk about the role of NAU as a premier institution for higher learning for Native American students.
