Thanksgiving at St. Jude’s in TC

St. Jude’s Soup Kitchen in Tuba City is hosting its annual community Thanksgiving Dinner 2-5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21 in the gym. A traditional Thanksgiving dinner will be served and all are welcome. Everyone is invited to attend a dance featuring Aces Wild 9 p.m.-1 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21 at Tonalea School gym. Admission is $10 per person and $18 per couple.

Benefit Social Song & Dance

Everyone is welcome to attend a Benefit Social Song and Dance held Friday, Nov. 21 in the large gym at Shonto Preparatory School in Shonto. Registration is at 5 p.m. Grocery awards go to all dancers and group singers. Donations of groceries or other items are appreciated. Native culture dinner in flag

A Native American Cultural Dinner Show will be held 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20 at American Legion Post #3, 204 W. Birch in Flagstaff. Students from Flagstaff High School Native American Club will display a wide variety of talent. Admission is $5 per person, $7 per couple, $3 per child (under 12) and $15 for a family of four. Instant Replay at casino

Instant Replay will perform at 8:45 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21 and Saturday, Nov. 22 in the Dragonfly Lounge at Cliff Castle Casino. The show is free of charge. Parent workshop

A free workshop, Couples Skills for Parents, will be offered from 9 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22 at Coconino County Department of Health and Dec. 6 at Flagstaff Medical Center. Strong Families Flagstaff (SFF) is partnering with the Childbirth Education programs at both FMC and the county as well as with Northern Arizona University to provide this workshop. Two Harkins Theater tickets will be awarded to couples completing the class. Grant funding is provided by Arizona Marriage Commission, the Flagstaff Community Foundation FMC Foundation and GeoFund. Blues at casino

Maxine Johnson, will be Danny Rhodes special guest on Sunday, Nov. 23, from 7 p.m.-11 p.m. at Cliff Castle Casino’s Dragonfly Lounge. Johnson is known for her ultra-smooth blues vocals.
