Rasco Building mural completed

He said this piece of work, which he has yet to name, is representative of what he remembers from his childhood.

He added there is also a theme of unity throughout the work, including the hair of all the dancers being connected.

The Winslow Chamber of Commerce sponsored the mural.

The building is owned by Jim Steagall and Kate Whitty, who said it was great to have Baje paint the mural because he is such a “great artist and a great guy.”

Baje said it was nice because the Chamber and the City of Winslow let him have total control over what was painted.

He added the mural overall is a “welcoming kind of thing that is something typical of his work.” His work can be seen at his gallery inside of Gallery 107 on Second Street.
