Two arrested in connection with deadly narcotic drugs
Winslow Police officers and members of the Navajo County Major Crimes Apprehension Team made two arrests that they believed to be connected with the deadly drugs that took two Winslow residents’ lives the weekend of June 8 - 9.
Vicente Rodriguez, 26, and Nieves Murillo, 21, were arrested on Tuesday, June 11 at 6:30 a.m.
The two were brought before Winslow Justice of the Peace Alison Kolomitz. The complaint against Murillo was dropped and she was released.
Rodriguez was indicted on a class II felony charge for possession of a narcotic drug with intent to sale, a class IV felony for possession of a narcotic drug and a class VI felony for possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held on a $20,000 bond at Navajo County Jail in Holbrook.
Rodriguez will appear before the Navajo County Superior Court.
