Kykotsmovi Hopi vets meeting

All Hopi Veterans are invited to a Hopi Veterans meeting scheduled for today (June 26) from 6-9 p.m. at the Kykotsmovi Community Center. Dinner will be provided by the Phoenix military order of the Purple Heart. Those Veterans who have received a Purple Heart while in service are encouraged to attend. Free Rabies Vaccine Clinics sponsored by the Office of Environmental Health and Engineering will be offered at the following locations: Coppermine – Today (June 26), Tonalea Chapter House July 8, Kaibeto Chapter House July 9, Tuba City Chapter House July 12. Coalmine Canyon meetings

The Coalmine Canyon Chapter work session meeting will take place Thursday at 9 a.m. The planning meeting is on July 7 at 10 a.m. The land use planning meeting is July 21 at 10 a.m. and the regular chapter house meeting is July 21 at 1 p.m.

Bodaway/Gap Chapter House Field Day

An Educational Field Day will take place at the Bodaway/Gap Chapter House on Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be seminars on Homesite Lease laws, Land Withdrawal, The Hogan Project, current drought conditions, Water Conservation. There will be games, volleyball and basketball tournaments, relays and water balloon busts, races and Bingo. Lunch will be catered for all to enjoy. For more information, call Calvin K. Low Mountain Jeehdeez’a Celebration Day

Jeehdeez’a Academy at Low Mountain is sponsoring a Parent Appreciation and Enrollment Drive Celebration Friday starting at 10 a.m. There will be entertainment, door prizes and various speaker presentations.
