Leupp — Welfare reform, a Navajo Nation bank, detox/treatments centers and increased Radiation Exposure Compensation Act settlements for Navajo uranium miners are only a few areas where the Begaye-McKenzie administration has made strong progress.
This was part of the presentation made by Dr. Taylor McKenzie, Vice President of the Navajo Nation, during a visit to the community of Leupp on June 22. McKenzie visited Leupp as the guest of Leonard Chee, who planned the occasion to announce his own candidacy for council delegate of Leupp Chapter.
