Temporary Assistance For Needy Families

MNA Museum Studies Internships – Call For

Applications

The Museum of Northern Arizona and BF Foundation are offering three 12-week Museum Studies internships for Native American Students. Internships will begin mid-May and continue through early August. Power Wheelchairs Available

The Senior Wheels USA Program makes available power (electric) wheelchairs to senior citizens, 65 years and up, and the permanently disabled at no costs to the recipient, if they qualify. The power wheelchairs are provided to those who cannot walk and cannot self-propel a manual wheelchair and who meet the additional guidelines of the program. No deposit is required. Heard Museum Exhibition

The Heard Museum’s acclaimed collection of Native American fine art, Rock, Paper, Scissors includes works by leading contemporary Hopi artist Linda Lomaheftewa. Many of the works in the exhibit are being publicly displayed for the first time. Exhibits continue through April 2002.
