Sandra S. Saunders

Funeral services for Sandra Sue Saunders, 42, were held Saturday, July 28, 2001, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Holbrook, Ariz. Interment was in the Holbrook City Cemetery.

Sandra Saunders passed away on July 25, 2001, in Phoenix, Ariz. She was born on July 13, 1959, in Keams Canyon, Ariz. She was a loving mother and took very good care of her children.

Her survivors include: sons, Clint and Eric Saunders.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charley Dixon and Mae R. Gishie Dixon.

Arrangements are under the direction of Greer’s Scott Mortuary of Winslow.

Millicient Kanuho

Funeral services for Millicent Kanuho, 90, were held Friday, July 27, 2001, at the Maranatha Assembly of God Church, Winslow, Ariz. Interment was held in Desert View Cemetery.

Millicent Kanuho passed away on July 23, 2001, in Flagstaff, Ariz. She was born on December 24, 1910, in Teesto, Ariz. She was a Master Rug Weaver, she raised livestock and numerous children, other than her own.

Her survivors include: daughters, Essie Yazzie of Berman, NM, Betty Kanuho of Flagstaff and Juanita Hasteen of Flagstaff; sons, Sam Tobahe of Leupp, Jimmy Lewis of Teesto, Elmer Kanuho of Flagstaff, Freddie Kanuho of Las Vegas, NV. and Thomas Kanuho of Flagstaff; brother, Randolph Tobahe of Hawaii; sisters, Mary Ahasteen of Teesto and Phoebe Hill of Dilkon; 38 Grandchildren and numerous Great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father, Alvin Tobahe; son, Bennie Kanuho; brothers, Mark Charlie and Jack Tobahe; sister, Nona Newby.

Arrangements are under the direction of Greer’s Scott Mortuary of Winslow.

Sunny M. Lynch

Memorial Services for Sunny Marie Lynch, 25, will be private. Sunny passed away on July 11, 2001, in Phoenix, Ariz. She was born on October 27, 1975, to Roy and Edith Lynch in Mount Mesa, Calif. Her survivors include: son, Chance S. Lynch; father, Roy Lynch; sisters, Yvette Lynch, Mae Ella, Mae Ann and C.J.; brothers, Ron Lynch, Ray Lynch, Leroy; many aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by mother, Edith Francis Lynch.

Arrangements under the direction of Greer’s Scott Mortuary in Winslow.

Angelina R. Keyonnie

Funeral services for Angelina Ruth Keyonnie, 48, were held Friday, July 27, 2001, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Winslow Stake. Interment was held in Desert View Cemetery.

Angelina Keyonnie passed away on July 23, 2001, in Flagstaff, Ariz. She was born on November 16, 1952, in Winslow, Ariz. Her hobbies were sewing, reading and traveling. She attended Leupp Boarding School and High School in Ft. Wingate, New Mexico. She attended Northern Arizona University and majored in Psychology. She worked with the Navajo Nation – Division of Social Services as a Child Protective Service Worker, Caseworker and Outreach Worker and as a Bilingual Aide with the Flagstaff Unified School District #1.

Her survivors include: her father, Keith Keyonnie; son, Nathaniel Bitsoi of Leupp; daughter, Jamescita Paddock of Phoenix and many aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jane Fuson; sister, Katherine and her brother, Gilbert Keyonnie.

Arrangements are under the direction of Greer’s Scott Mortuary of Winslow.
