Morris Chuey Ming Jue

Funeral Services for Morris Chuey Ming Jue, 68, was held Wednesday, September 26, 2001, at Greer’s Scott Mortuary Chapel. Viewing was held prior to services at the mortuary. Pastor David Daffern officiated. Burial followed in the Desert View Cemetery.

Morris Jue passed away on September 21, 2001, in Winslow. He was born on August 5, 1933 in China.

His survivors include: ex-wife, Mary Jue of Winslow; sons, Jerry Jue of Winslow and Larry Jue and wife, Jeri, and granddaughter Alison Jue, all of Phoenix, Ariz.; brother, Harry Jue; sisters, Sherry Jue and Mary Jue of Southern Calif.; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Arrangements under the direction of Greer’s Scott Mortuary.

Patricia J. Miller

Patricia J. Miller, 74, a long time Winslow resident passed away in Winslow on September 25, 2001. She moved here in 1987 to be near her oldest daughter Bert (Butch) Cole.

She is also survived by two daughters, Mary (Duncan) Scott of Mesa and Elizabeth (John) Mayer of Phoenix; nine grandchildren, Candy Terry, Craig Cole, Melissa Delgado, Jon Moreno, Kristen Wright, Mikel Moreno, Chelsea Scott, Ben Scott and Andrew Scott; nine great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many special friends and longtime companion Winston.

Pat loved her family and spending time with them. Her passion was collecting bears. She has hundreds of them and just could not say, “No,” to one more.

We will miss her wit and humor and her gentle spirit.
