Newton grants restitution funds for counseling

In a hearing held Thursday, March 1, Judge Newton held defendants in the hazing cases responsible for costs of counseling for victims. In a complex judgement he held the defendants individually and severally responsible for the costs where reimbusment was requested. In some cases Navajo County Victims Assistance was to be reimbursed for their costs. In one case Newton also allowed a limited amount to cover travel expenses for the parent of a minor.
