Robert Lee Mason
Robert Lee Mason, age 58 died May 24, 3001, at his home in Winslow. Robert was born January 16, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan.
He leaves behind his friend and companion of 11 years Deborah A. Baker and his two children, Elizabeth M. Baker and Jason L. Baker. He will be deeply missed.

Michel Joseph O’Haco
Holy Rosary for Michel “Mike” Joseph O’Haco, 81, was recited at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2001 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 220 W. 2nd Street, Winslow, Ariz. Mass of Christian Burial was held June 7th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Father Jakov Juric, Celebrant. Holy Communion was held in Celebration of M.J.’s life following the graveside service, which was held on top of Chevelon Butte.
Michel O’Haco passed away while working on the ranch on June 3, 2001, in Winslow. He was born on March 1, 1920 in Phoenix, Ariz.
Under the Carter administration he was appointed to the Agriculture Stabilization Conservation Services committee. The committee oversees loans and projects for farmers and ranchers. He served on the committee for eight years. He was also appointed to the Arizona Range Land Advisory Commission by Arizona Governor Babbitt. He was on this committee for four years.
He received the University of Arizona Depart of Agriculture Lifetime Achievement Award (Agriculture Hall of Fame) in 1993. He was also Herford Man of the year in 1995 and Cattle Man of the Year in 1997.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa O’Haco; daughters, Kathleen O’Haco, Karen O’Haco, Tess O’Haco Densmore and husband, Cody and Kim O’Haco McReynolds and husband, Troy; sons, Michael O’Haco, Jr. and wife, Linda, Jim O’Haco and wife, Jeanne, Dan O’Haco and Jeff O’Haco and wife, Jay; sisters, Vi Anderson and Dolly Pafford; Nine grandchildren, Jessica O’Haco, Mica O’Haco, Mariah O’Haco, Steven Miller, Katie Miller, Amanda Chandler, Jot Cake, Michael Joseph Densmore and Alexandra O’Haco; 1 great-granddaughter, Alicia O’Haco-Virgil; cousins, Yvonne Espil and Dodi Prouty; and many other cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Michel Joseph and Luisa O’Haco; sister Lillian McNally.

James Francis Burgess, 56, Muskogee Creek Nation Tribal Court Officer died Wednesday, June 6, 2001.
Wake services are Friday, June 8, 7:00 p.m. and funeral services are Saturday June 9, 2:00 p.m. at Wewoka Indian Baptist Church in Wewoka, Okla.
He is the father of Jeffrey Scott Burgess of Winslow.

David Bryan Tyler
Memorial Services for David Bryan Tyler, a former Winslow resident, was held Friday, June 8, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. Desert Memorial Crematorium and Burial, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North Las Vegas, Nev. David was born on June 7, 1970 in Winslow, Ariz. He was called to Heaven on June 3, 2001.
David is survived by his Aunt Toni Montano of Winslow. His four sisters, Deanna Tyler of Las Vegas, Nev., Tracy Montoya of Holbrook; Stacy and her husband Isidro Baca of Holbrook; and Dominique and her husband Billy Wilbanks of Joseph City. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother Betty Tyler of Winslow, his mother Teri Conwell, his father Tim Tyler, and also many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. David has gone on to join his maternal grandparents, Alfejo and Mavis Montano and his “Grand Dad” Jesse Tyler. May the rest in peace together.
A Memorial Service will be held in Winslow, Ariz. at a later date to include friends and family that are unable to attend services in Las Vegas.
Funeral service for D.W. Kyle (Dub) will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday June 13, 2001, at Greer Scott Mortuary Chapel.
Viewing will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2001, from 6-8 p.m. at Greer Scott Mortuary Chapel. Interment will be at Desert View Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Greer Scott Mortuary Winslow.
