520 Becomes 928 Area Code

As of June 23 of this year, Northern Arizona will be changing all area codes from 520 to 928. A grace period, ending January 5th of 2002, extends the time that phone companies will allow calls made through old 520 codes to be placed. After this period, calls and faxes dialed with 520 will not go through.

Free Spay and Neutering for cats and dogs until July 13

The Spay Neuter Assistance Program and the Navajo Veterinary Program have launched a new Spay/Neuter Truck on the Navajo Nation. Free spay and neuter surgeries for dogs and cats are available this week ending this Friday, July 13 at the Window Rock Veterinary Clinic. Call 928/871-6615 for more information if needed.

8th Annual Huma Classic

Hozhoni Artists Annual Exhibit

The Hozhoni Artists 5th Annual Exhibit will be hung at Brandy’s Restaurant and Bakery in Flagstaff through July 31. An artists reception will be hosted on July 12 from 7 to 9 p.m. Northern Arizona Pioneering Art Programs for Adults with Developmental Disabilities—Flagstaff and Prescott.
