The Winslow Bulldogs defeated the Greyhills Knights 56-44 in their first Enchantment Region game of the season. The victory left Winslow with a 4-3 record for the season and a 1-0 mark in the region. Greyhills suffered its first loss and fell to 2-1 for the season and 0-1 in the region.
Greyhills broke on top and led 14-12 after the first period, but could only manage one three-pointer in the second quarter and trailed 22-17 at the intermission. Winslow still led 36-31 after three periods. The Knights closed to within a single point at 42-41 midway through the final period, but Winslow scored the next 10 points. By the time the Knights scored again, they trailed 52-43 with only 35 seconds left on the clock.
One Bulldogs finished with ten points, two with nine points and three more finished with eight. Greyhills had one player with nine, another with eight and three with six points.
Winslow won the freshman game 58-56, but Greyhills prevailed in the junior varsity contest 52-48.
