The Lady Bulldogs faired well at the Gallup Invitational last weekend. The team won two of their three games.

Cibola 86 Lady Bulldogs 82 (4 Overtimes)
The Winslow Lady Bulldogs lost a heart breaker in the opening round of the Gallup Invitational Tournament when they fell to Cibola 86-82 in four overtimes on Thursday.
Cibola led the close game 17-16 after the first period and 33-30 at the intermission. The teams were tied at 43-43 after three quarters and 58-58 at the end of regulation. The first three overtimes also produced tie scores and the contest was not decided until the fourth extra session.
Lexine Jensen led Winslow with 18 points. Lindsey Begaii with 17 points and Nicole Begaii with 11 were also in double figures.
Shawna Snyder led all scorers with 31 points for Cibola. Tristan Baker with 20 points and Melanie Dragmeister with 18 were also in double figures for the New Mexico school.
Winslow had three players foul out of the game in which Cibola hit 25 of 46 charity attempts. The Lady Bulldogs were 22 of 29 from the line.

Lady Bulldogs 63 Mayfield 50
The Winslow Lady Bulldogs defeated Mayfield 63-50 in the Gallup Invitational Tournament on Friday.
The Lady Bulldogs used a 28-11 third quarter burst to turn a one-point half-time deficit into a 51-35 lead on their way to the victory.
Lexine Jensen led all scorers with 23 points for Winslow. Juana Brown was also in double figures for the Lady Bulldogs with 11 points.
Ashley Gilpin led Mayfield with 16 points. Felicia Lara was in double figures with 14 points for the New Mexico school.

Lady Bulldogs 51 Durango 47
The Winslow Lady Bulldogs defeated Durango 51-47 in the contest for fifth place in the Gallup Invitational Tournament on Saturday. Winslow ended the week with a 2-1 record in the tournament and a 3-2 record for the season.
Winslow led 17-9 after the first period and 24-21 at the half, but were tied at 36-36 after three quarters. The Lady Bulldogs managed to pull back ahead for the victory in the final frame.
Lexine Jensen led all scorers with 25 points for Winslow.
Karen Thies with 11 points and Blair Murphy with 10 were in double figures for the Colorado school.
