Shonto Chapter Meeting

Shonto Chapter will hold its monthly Planning Meeting April 18, 2001, at 6 p.m. in Shonto, Ariz. The public is invited to attend and participate. If you would like to be placed on the agenda, call the Chapter Administration at 520-672-2460.

Home Ownership Fair

A Home Ownership Fair will be held Thursday, April 19 at 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pinon Chapter house. Learn how to qualify for your own home or upgrade an existing home. The USDA Rural Development direct single-family housing program provides funds to homeowners with very low income. Song and Dance Meeting

The Western Dine’ Agency Song and Dance Organization will have their annual meeting Wednesday, April 18 at 6:30 p.m.(DST) at the Hogan Restaurant in Tuba City.

Country Western Dance

A Country Western Dance will be held Friday, April 20 from 9 p.m.- 1a.m. at the Kayenta Field House. Music will be provided by “AfterNineBand.” Special guest features will include a couples dance contest. For more information, call (520) 697-8143.

Benefit Social Song & Dance

A Benefit Social Song & Dance will be held Saturday, April 21 at the Tuba City Community Center in Tuba City. Registration begins at 10 a.m. (DST) and the grand entry is at 12 noon. The public is welcome. The event is being sponsored by the Shonto Delight group.

Planning Meeting

The Tolani Lake Chapter land use will have planning committee meetings on resident grazing Monday, April 23 and Tuesday, May 8 at 10 a.m. (DST). Attendance is encouraged. For more information, call (520) 626-6268.

Veterans Association Easter Raffle

The Forest Lake Veterans Association Easter raffle by FLVA will be postponed due to inclement weather. The Easter drawing will be held Sunday, April 22 at 10 a.m. at the Forest Lake Chapter House during the regular FLVA meetings. The public is welcomed to attend.

Aids Outreach

The Aids Outreach of Northern Arizona, Inc. is presenting its annual training retreat on Friday-Sunday, April 27 through April 29 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Flagstaff. “There is No Immunity in Your Community” is designed to present in-depth education on many aspects of HIV/AIDS. The cost of the event is $150 for professional training or $75 for personal enrichment. These prices include all materials, meals and optional overnight lodging.
