Men’s Basketball Tournament

The National All Indian Men’s 6 ft. and Under Basketball Tournament will be held April 12-14 at the Flagstaff High School Gymnasium. Individual and team awards. Ten player roster. CIB and Tribal Affiliation required. Entry fee: $350, money order or cashiers check only. Please make payable to Buddy Tsingine. $250, non-refundable, deposit reserves spot in tournament. Baseball/ Softball Registrations

The Boys & Girls Club of Gallup will be registering youth for the Summer T-Ball, Boys Baseball and Girls Softball Program.

Registration will be held at the John F. Kennedy Middle School Lobby located at 600 S. Boardman Dr. In Gallup. Registration fees are 435 for one child, $30 for 2 children and $25 for three, any child after that is free. Requirements include the original birth certificate. 13 and Under Boy’s Basketball Tournament

Rez Hoops

The 2nd annual “Rez Hoops” 14 and under boys and girls basketball tournament will be held, Thursday-Saturday, April 19-21 at the Kayenta Middle School. Entry fee is $125 for an 8 players roster. All participants must be in the 8th grade and must not turn 15 before

Open Men’s Basketball Tournament

The Spring Fever Open Men’s Basketball Tournament will be held Saturday and Sunday, April 21-22 at the Kayenta Valley High School Gymnasium. Entry fee is $250 per team. Grand prize is $1000. The event is presented by Bobby Manheimer. For more information, call (520) 697-3936.

Best in the West

The 18th Annual “Best in the West” open basketball Tournament will be held Thursday-Sunday, April 12-15 from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. at the Ft. McDowell & Salt River Rec Gymnasiums at Fountain Hills in Scottsdale, Arizona. Entry fee is $350 for men, $250 for women and $250 for men 35 and over. Eligibility requirements are open men—6’1” and under and open men 35 and over a drivers license is required.

The Greatest Shoot-out

The Greatest Shoot-out basketball tournament will be held for boys & girls 12 & under, Friday- Sunday, April 20-22. For boys & girls 14 & under will be held Friday-Sunday, April, 27-29. Run for the Mountain

“Run for the Mountain” is a perfect opportunity to get back into shape and enjoy the scenery. Benefiting the Flagstaff Mountain School’s new site development, this fun family event will take place on Saturday, April 21 in Fort Tuthill, two miles south of Flagstaff on Interstate I-17.

“Run for the Mountain” features special events such as a 2K and a 5K run. Registration is $20 for all races and $45 per family. All races begin at 9 a.m.

Contest Pow Wow

The Central Navajo Regional Division of Social Services will present a Contest Pow Wow to be held, Friday, April 27 at 5 p.m. at Chinle High School. The theme “I Love my Children, Nisha? Child Abuse EI Dooda.” The contest is for teens, juniors and tiny tiny tots.
