Larry G. Gallegos

Larry G. Gallegos, 73, of Winslow, passed away on March 31 at Desert Samaritan Hospital in Mesa. He was born on May 24, 1927 in Concho. He lived in Clifton and Flagstaff before moving to Winslow in 1947. Larry served his county in the U.S. Army, serving in Korea. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion and the V.F.W. Larry retired from the Arizona Department of Transportation in 1987. Larry was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather.

His survivors include: his beloved wife of 53 years, Dora; four children; Henry

Gallegos of Winslow, Linda Bruner of Mesa, Steve Gallegos of Winslow and

Donna Sanchez of Mesa; grandchildren, Steve Bruner, Andrea Bruner, Eric Bruner, John Hernandez, Melanie Hernandez and Jennifer Hernandez.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Juanita Gallegos and grandchild, Brian Bruner.

Holy Rosary for Larry G. Gallegos was held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, at Madre de Dios Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial is being held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 4 at Madre de Dios Catholic Church with Celebrant, Father Dan Hussey. Interment will be in Desert View Cemetery.

Greer's Scott Mortuary of Winslow is in charge of the arrangements.

James Jensen

Funeral services for James Jensen, 45, will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 5, at Greer's Scott Mortuary Chapel. Interment will be in Desert View Cemetery.

James Jensen passed away on April 1, 2001 in Dilkon. He was born on January 10, 1956, in Dilkon.

His survivors include; daughters, Faylene Jensen and Melissa Jensen, both of

Dilkon; sons, Nathan Jensen and James Jensen, both of Dilkon; brothers, Raymond Jensen of Seba Delkai and Robert Jensen of Winslow; sisters, Jennie Lester, Emma Kinlicheeney, Mary Rose Smith, Angela Jensen and Lucy Jensen, all of Dilkon.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Sally Jensen.

Greer's Scott Mortuary of Winslow is in charge of the arrangements.
