Assistance Needed

If you have a coat or jacket to spare, please bring it the Tuba City Industrial Laundry, across from the Wells Fargo Bank. We will clean them and give it to those in need. If you know someone who needs a coat or jacket, have them come by and get one, at no charge.

St. Jude’s Annual Christmas Bazaar

St. Jude’s Christmas Bazaar will be held on Wednesday, November 29 from 6-9 p.m.. in Tuba City. There will be Mexican food sold by the St. Jude’s Soup Kitchen. A silent auction and annual quilt raffle to benefit the St. Jude’s Charities, they will be accepting donations from various artist and welcome donations.

Young Greens Meeting

The Young Greens of NAU host a Flagstaff area organizing meeting to bring Greens together for the purpose of looking forward to the 2001 and 2002 elections. Come to meet other Greens, debrief from the recent election, discuss future tactics and form other meeting groups. Open to all ages whether students or not. Refreshments will be provided. The meeting will take place in Room 200 of the Liberal Arts Building on NAU campus at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday November 29.

Charity Bazaar

A Charity Bazaar will be held at Eagles’ Nest Middle School Cafeteria on November 30 from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. All proceed benefits the Joe Salt family. $10 space fee. Shonto Christmas Bazaar

The Shonto Chapter Administration will be hosting a Christmas Bazaar on December 1 from 5-8 p.m. at Shonto Chapter. The public is welcome to attend and participate. Contact the Shonto Administration for more information at (520) 672-2460.

Recreation Youth Club

The Department of Youth and Community Services is sponsoring a Recreation Youth Club for Tuba City Boarding School Students, every Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Arts and Crafts, Tutoring, Community Services and Sports. Parents who are interested should come by and sign up their child, or contact DYCS Recreation Department at (520) 283-3026.

Tonalea Housing

Tonalea Chapter residents are urged to sign up for the proposed Navajo Housing Authority scattered site housing. Come to the Tonalea Chapter Office to sign up. You must have a completed homesite lease and the homesite to be vacant.

4th Annual Christmas Bazaar

The KMS 4th annual Christmas Bazaar will be held on Wednesday, December 6 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Kayenta Middle School. Arts and crafts, food and game booths will be available for $10. For more information, call (520) 697-2298.
