Legislation approving a loan and grant agreement between the Navajo Nation and the Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise was passed Dec. 5 allowing construction of the Síhasin Fund Twin Arrows Travel Center Development Project, near the Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort.
Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort, located along I-40, exit 219, just east of Flagstaff, opened May 31 and grand opening events throughout Memorial weekend highlighted Navajo traditions while showcasing the property's state-of-the-art gaming and resort accommodations.
