Winslow remembers 9-11

On Sept. 11, Winslow put on a memorial service to remember the victims of the World Trade Center and Pentagon terrorist attacks 13 years ago. Ken Evans II organized the event this year. The Hopi High ROTC presented the colors, the Hays Sisters sang the Star Spangled Banner, Winslow Mayor Robin Boyd gave an opening prayer, Dee Rodriguez placed a wreath, Wanda Whiloite read a poem and Brett Carrell played taps.
