Ts'ah Bii Kin Intergenerational Conference June 21
The Ts'ah Bii Kin Chapter Intergenerational Conference will take place on June 21 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Ts'ah Bii Kin Chapter.
The conference features breakout information sessions, a horse ride, a bike ride, a fun walk and fun run, and information booths.
The event is free to the public, will include giveaways to the elderly and youth, and lunch will be provided.
Summer youth opportunities and Devil Pups try-outs in June
Career Incentive Training, interviews for the Summer Youth Employment program and Devil Pups tryouts will take place at the following locations:
June 11, 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. for Coalmine Mesa, Tuba City, Cameron and Gap/Bodaway Chapters at Tuba City Chapter House.
To be eligible for employment all applicants must be an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation, be 14 to 24 years of age, enrolled in high school, college or vocational tech institute, have definite plans to continue education, one family member per household and they must attend the career incentive training.

Devil Pups program is a non profit organization designed to help boys and girls from all backgrounds to gain self confidence and learn to take responsibility for their actions. The program is a demanding physical and academic good citizenship program for young teenagers. The qualified participants will attend the 10-day camp that will provide challenge, teamwork, discipline and education for boys and girls between the ages of 14-17.
All participants must be healthy, must pass a physical test (sits ups, push ups, pull ups and one-mile run), need current physical exams, valid census number, and cannot be on any type of medications or have asthma.

Hopi High Summer Food Service offered now
The Hopi Jr./Sr. High School Summer Food Service program goes through June 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Hopi Jr./Sr. High School cafeteria. Meals will be served Monday through Thursday.
Meals are served to all children, ages 18 and younger, without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability - there is no discrimination in the course of meal service.

Family Camp June 15-21
The Flagstaff Mission to the Navajos (FMN) is sponsoring Family Camp 2014 June 15-21 at the Nathan Christian Conference in Flagstaff, Arizona.
There will be activities, crafts, bible teaching, contests, singing and fellowship around the table with food.
Sunday through Friday evening Navajo speaker Calvin Kelly from the Presbyterian Church in Leupp will speak. The English speaker is Howard Tyron, founder and executive director for Praying For You.
Morning sessions: Pastors of FMN Navajo Churches Session 1 and 2.
Children: College Park Church, Indianapolis, Indiana.
College and Career: Shane Duke with Crossover Ministries, from Columbia, Louisiana.
Cost: cabins $9 per day and kids five and younger are free.

Greyhills Summer Food Service offered now
Greyhills Academy is sponsoring a summer food service program through June 27 at Greyhills Academy High School cafeteria.
Breakfast will be served Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.
Lunch will be served Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
