Winslow High School students at the Padre Canyon Ranch Aug. 15. Students learned the names of native plants and grasses that wildlife and cattle count on for grazing, about how to determine the number of cattle that one acre of land will feed, about soil, water and plant conservation and management. The students talked to two Hopi students who participated in a summer ranching internship with the Hopi 3 Ranches.
