Monument Valley Mustangs remain unbeaten

KAYENTA, Ariz. - The Monument Valley Mustangs won for the fourth consecutive game to stay unbeaten among the teams in the northern area of the state. The Mustangs blasted past Many Farms 70-16 at Kayenta on Friday. The Mustangs will have a tougher time this Friday when they journey to Page to meet the Page Sand Devils. Page thumped an outmanned Red Mesa 54-6 at Red Mesa.

The Winslow Bulldogs got back on the winning way with an easy 48-0 win over the Ganado Hornets at Ganado. Winslow will host the Chinle Wildcats on Friday in their Homecoming Game. Chinle lost to the St. Johns Redskins 34-6 at Chinle on Friday. Ganado will play the Window Rock Scouts at Window Rock this Friday.

The Holbrook Roadrunners defeated the Window Rock Scouts 44-19 at Window Rock on Friday. They face a nearly impossible test this Friday when they meet the undefeated, top rated Blue Ridge Yellowjackets at Holbrook. Blue Ridge remained undefeated with a 42-19 win over the Round Valley Elks at Pinetop on Friday.

The Hop Bruins got a big win with their 20-18 victory over the Tuba City Warriors at Polacca on Friday.

The Show Low Cougars got a tough, important win when they edged the Snowflake Lobos 34-23 at Show Low on Friday. The Cougars will meet the Payson Longhorns at Payson this Friday. Snowflake will play at St. Johns this Friday.

The Mingus Marauders thrashed the Flagstaff Eagles 41-13 at Mingus on Friday. Flagstaff was coming off an upset of the Winslow Bulldogs last week. The Eagles will host Tuba City next week.

The Coconino Panthers defeated Lake Havasu 13-0 at Lake Havasu on Friday. The Panthers will be at Dysart this Friday.
