Leppin Ranch planning Annual Fall Harvest
The Leppin Ranch in Winslow extends an invitation to all Navajo and Hopi people to come and enjoy the Annual Fall Harvest Festivalk Oct. 6-7.
The festival will be held 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 6-7 at Leppin Ranch, 102 Papago Blvd., Winslow. Enjoy live pumpkin, melon and vegetable picking in addition to hayrides and food and beverages. There is fun for everyone - young and old - so come and enjoy the new store, order ice cream, sandwiches and spend the day.

Children's play offered tomorrow in Winslow
Winslow Arts Council is proud to present "Josefina Javelina and the Three Little Javelinas" (a children's performance) at 1:30 and 4:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Historic Hubbell Visitor Center. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
Limited services at Self Reliance offices
The following Navajo Nation Program for Self Reliance (NNPSR) offices will have limited services on the following days -
June 18, Kayenta Field Office.
June 19, Chinle Field Office.
June 20, Greasewood Sub-Office.
All offices will remain open and customers will continue to be served. NNPSR offices will be converting lines to metro-ethernet and access to the network including phones, internet and the Tribal Assistance System will not be available to staff. All other NNPSR offices will remain open.

Birth certificates available today
Birth certificates are available in Tuba City 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. (DST) today and June 20 at Coconino County Supervisor Lena Fowler's office, 49 Maple St., behind the Behavioral Health building, one street west of Main Street.
Birth certificates are available every first and third Wednesday of the month. Birth certificates are also available in Page 10 a.m.-2 p.m. (local Page time) every second Wednesday of the month. Birth certificates can also be obtained at the Leupp Chapter House every first Thursday of the month. The fee is $19, cash only. Certain requirements and exceptions apply.

Good Road of Life Native Families June 13-15
The Good Road of Life Native Families will be offered 7:45 a.m.-5 p.m. June 13-15 at the Moenkopi Legacy Inn Conference Center in Tuba City.
Native Families is a three-day journey towards wellness and healing for Native men and their family members. It is the second part to the Good Road of Life: Responsible Fatherhood series. It is designed to teach Native men, women and their children how to strengthen the family relationships and keep Native families together.
Pre-registration is required and seating is limited. Participants must be committed to all three days of training to obtain a certificate.

Free Legal Options Training June 20
The Native American Disability Law Center will be conducting a free community based training for individuals and families with disabilities. The training will be reviewing legal options to guardianships.

Your locks wanted during Hair Stock June 24
The Third Annual Hair Stock returns June 24 to the Orpheum Theater in downtown Flagstaff. Hair Stock will be held 2-6 p.m.
Watch and support friends and family as their hair is clipped for a cure for cancer. Activities will include a silent auction, children's activities and food. Proceeds and hair will benefit northern Arizona cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy through Pantene Beautiful Lengths and Locks of Love.

Boys and Girls Club offers summer program
Boys and Girls Club is offering a summer program for youth 6-18-years-old. The program will be offered 10 a.m.-5:15 p.m. (DST) Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday through Aug. 3.

Register now for Navajo Nation Police Heroes' Run
The First Annual Navajo Nation Police Heroes' Run will be held June 23 in Tuba City. The 10 K run and 5K run/walk are in memory of fallen police officers that died in the line of duty. All proceeds will benefit the Navajo Nation Police Survivors Program.
Registration begins at 7 a.m. (DST) at the Tuba City Police Department. The race begins at 8 a.m. Registration is $25 for the 10K run and $20 for the 5K run/walk. T-shirts will be given to all registered participants. There will be age group awards. A course map will be provided the day of the race.

Men's Night Out June 13
A Men's Night Out will be offered 5-9:30 p.m. June 13. HOPI Cancer Support Services, Native American Cancer Prevention and Mayo Clinic's Spirit of Eagles is sponsoring the event.
Registration will be held 5-6 p.m. No fees are required for registration and all male participants must be 18-years-old or older. Free health screenings including oral cancer screenings, vitals checks and body mass index measurements. Topics on male health concerns will be discussed. Entertainment by comedian Drew Lacapa will be offered.

Gourd dancing June 23 at Bellemont
Honoring Camp Navajo Past and Present will be celebrated during the Fourth Annual Gourd Dancing 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. June 23 at Camp Navajo.
Camp Navajo is located at Bellemont 15 miles west of Flagstaff off Interstate 40.
Master of Ceremony is Dennis Bedonie; Head Gourd Dancer is Larry Anderson; Head Southern Drum is Long Walk Descendence; and Head Singer Mike Croan. All gourd dancers and the public are welcome. There will be no vending.

Kayenta Fourth of July Music Festival
The township of Kayenta is hosting the First Annual Kayenta Fourth of July Music Festival. The festival is free and begins at 12 p.m. at the Kayenta Recreation Park.
Enjoy the sounds of Levi & The Plateros, Saving Damsels, Chuckie Begay and The Mother Earth Blues Band, Coalition, Skool Boy Kook and Pax Harvey.
Support the Great Winslow Fireworks
Support the Great Winslow Fireworks Event on July 4. Bring your fireworks donations ($) to Simmons Realty or The Scoop in Winslow. This is the biggest fireworks display in northeastern Arizona and includes Winslow Rotary's "Freedom Fest" activities held at the Hubbell Building, from noon until 5 p.m. on July 4. Enjoy a beer garden, horseshoes, battle of the bands, food vendors and children's activities.
