2001 Bulldog is currently No. 1 National Team Roper

WINSLOW, Ariz.-Winslow High School Graduate Derrick Begay is ranked number one going into the National Finals Rodeo in the Team Roping (Header). PRCA standings are derived from the total winnings for each contestant during the calendar year. At this posting Begayhas won $118,754 in 2011. Begay is still unmarried, ladies.

Begay was born in Winslow and graduated from Winslow High School in 2001. Currently he lives in Seba Dalkai. Begay Joined the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association in 2004. He graduated from Northland Pioneer College (Holbrook) with an associate degree in industrial arts. Begay has won at least 28 Team Roping events throughout the western United States in the last five years.
