'Be Navajo' at the 2010 Navajo Nation Fair

WINDOW ROCK, Ariz. - The Navajo Nation Fair is known for being a destination of itself every September, drawing a wide range of visitors from around the world. Like other major tourist attractions across Navajo land, such as Monument Valley, Antelope Canyon and Four Corners Monument, the Nation's Fair draws people of every race, every background and every culture.

For the 64th Annual Navajo Nation Fair, the Navajo Nation Special Events Office is encouraging everyone to "Be Navajo", as a part of the fair's theme, "A journey into a changing world - keeping our teachings in mind."

Taking place from September 6 - 12, this year's fair will be headlined by several crowd pleasers, including concerts by Earl Thomas Conley (September 9, 9:30 pm (DST)) and Ronnie Milsap (September 10, 9:30 pm), the Frazier Shows of America carnival and one of the largest parades on Navajo country, which will happen on September 11 at 9 am.
