ADOT prepares to install new traffic signal in Kayenta

KAYENTA, Ariz. - As part of its public safety role, the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) will install a new traffic signal on US 163 at the entrance to the Kayenta schools. Other work included in the project will be the addition of a roadway stub-out, a cattle guard, signing, and striping. Construction will begin by the end of March and will last for several months.

There will be lane restrictions into and out of the school as well as some restrictions on US 163.  Motorists using this area should plan on minor delays associated with the construction.

ADOT appreciates the public's patience while construction crews work to complete the improvements.
