The following gallery is a collection of reader-submitted images from winter storms that blanketed much of northern Arizona with record-breaking snowfall, resulting in dire situations for many residents in remote communities throughout the Hopi and Navajo Reservations who were stranded by knee-high snow and dirt roads rendered impassable by "rivers of mud."
