NAU Art Museum opens print exhibition

The NAU Art Museum will open the fifth biennial National Print Exhibition on Tuesday, Aug. 24 to run through Saturday, Sept. 25. There will be a reception on Thursday, Sept. 2, from 5-7 p.m. at the museum.

The exhibition, which was juried by Melanie Yazzie, associate professor of art at the University of Colorado, features prints by artists from across the U.S., working in a variety of print techniques from traditional to experimental. The exhibition covers a wide range of themes and includes powerful examples of abstract imagery as well.

This event is free and open to the public with a suggested $2 donation. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 12-5 p.m. and is located in the historic Old Main building.
