NAU Art Museum presents faculty art exhibition

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz.- The NAU Art Museum presents the 2009 School of Art Faculty Exhibition on display until March 28.

The exhibition features prints, paintings, sculpture and installations created in a variety of media by professors and instructors. The works explore a range of formal problems as well as themes of memory, psychology and history.

The exhibit will feature Steven Schaeffer, Ceramics; Brian Painter, Sculpture; Helaine McLain, Pastel/Painting; Paula Rice, Ceramics; Chris Taylor, Painting; Nancy Reynolds, Sculpture; Curtis Smith, Sculpture; Joe Cornett, Jewelry; David Williams, Printmaking; Jason Hess, Ceramics; Lynne Wright, Printmaking; James O'Hara, Sculpture; Shawn Skabelund, Installation; J. Star Yardley, Jewelry; Milly Haeuptle, Jewelry; Barbara Sheeley, Painting; and Don Bendel, Ceramics.

This show was supported by BBB Revenues from the City of Flagstaff and Flagstaff Cultural Partners.

Museum hours are Tuesday-Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. and closed during all university holidays. This event is free and open to the public with a suggested $2 per person donation. All donations help support NAU Art Museum programs.

The Museum is located on the corner of Knoles and McMullen Circle in the historic Old Main building.
