Navajo County anti-drug coalition launches new Web site

HOLBROOK, Ariz. - Navajo County Coalition Against Drug Abuse along with the Navajo County Board of Supervisors recently launched the Coalition's new comprehensive Web site. The launch was announced with distribution of 27,000 direct mail post cards to county postal patrons south of I-40 and north of SH 73.

The progressive Web site offers opportunities to sign up for the Coalition's newsletters, provides source information on drugs, addiction and treatment, download of educational materials and access to the Coalition's store to purchase Not Even Once meth T-shirts, wristbands, dog tags and 'Drive Away Drugs' tickets to win a road-licensed electric car to be awarded May 27.

"We cooperated with Allegra Printing in Show Low to develop the website," said Coalition Coordinator Debe Campbell. "While we continue to get all elements up and running, we are pleased that the site is fully active. In fact, we were able to run our April "Into the Light" telethon credit card charges through the Web site's shopping cart."

The Coalition's non-profit partner, Friends of the Navajo County Coalition Against Drug Abuse, Inc., funds the Web site through community donations. Donations also may be made on line with credit cards.

The site can be accessed at www.navajocountydrugproject.com.
