To the editor:
Hi my name is Urlinda Joe. I'm an eighth grader here at Shonto Preparatory School. I live on the Navajo Reservation. My clans are Towering House Clan bom for the Many Goats Clan. My paternal grandfather is the Tangle Clan, and my maternal grandmother is the Bitter Water Clan.
I think this shoe the Nike Air Native N7 is a good thing to buy and at the same time a bad thing. The good thing about the N7 is that they might help natives with health problems. They are nice and comfortable. Also, the shoe might help us to fight diabetes and obesity. Also, the shoe can be nice to wear around the house and probably good to walk around in.
The bad thing is that Nike is just trying to make a profit. They're not that good, and the shoes are plain; they need to put on more native design on them. They don't do anything for our culture. The shoes are nothing to us if they have no detail to them.
These shoes may be cool, but they need a little more work. For instance, they are good, but need more detail to our culture. The N7 needs more designs. Also, they maybe haven't been tested on some person because how do we know if these shoes are going to work.
Thank you for reading my letter. I hope you understand that they need to do more work on this shoe and agree with me that they're good, but need to be more worked on.
