Milestone: Dawnae R. Holcomb

Dawnae R. Holcomb has successfully completed the American Red Cross volunteer/Air Force Dental Assistant Training program in Spangdahlem, Germany on Aug. 1.

Holcomb is the daughter of Roy V. and Darlene A. Smith of Kayenta, Ariz. and the granddaughter of Katherine Smith of Big Mountain, Ariz. and Loretta Adakai of Monument Valley, Utah.

Holcomb completed the four month program, sometimes eight plus hours a day of hands on training. The training was free and the only expenses were child care and gas. The mother of five is able to manage her time at home and in the dental clinic.
