I am trying to contact a former Navajo Marine named Andrew Wise who wasin my platoon in Vietnam during late November to February 1967-68. We were in DeltaCompany, 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division at the time, andin December we went on a float with Battalion Landing Team 3/1 (thirdbattalion, 1st Marine regiment).
I was a platoon leader and Andrew was a Pfc in the platoon. I have somepictures and a book for him. He was a good man, and had been awarded the bronze star with V prior to my picking up the platoon. I left the field in Feb1968 as my time was up. A new platoon leader was assigned and later KIA. Iknow not of Andrew's fate, but believe he made it safely home.
I have no idea what part of the reservation he comes from and would appreciate any help you can give in finding him.
