The 20th Annual Holiday Home Tour will be held Dec. 4 from 1 to 5 p.m. in Winslow, a land mark for the Winslow Women's Club.

President Lila Atkins noted that as always, there will be unique decorations and interiors to enjoy.

Those taking the tour will get to see what their neighbors have been up to.

Here's a peek: one home will have every room decorated, and you will be greeted personally by Mrs. Santa Claus and her helper (see photo on right), both in season-appropriate clothes; a second boasts a large collection of toys assembled over many years; a third home has been recently remodeled, and the huge village display in its picture window gives just a hint of what's inside; the fourth is the home of a local artist, and that speaks for itself! Fifth is Old Trails Museum, which promises new, yet old, displays.

Tickets remain $6 per person, which gives admittance to all five locations. Advance tickets are available this week at various locations, including Old Trails Museum, La Posada, Loose Ends, and Seattle Grind. For home delivery, call Susan at 289-5404 or Lila at 289-8202. As always, tickets will be available for sale on tour day at each site.

Again this year a door prize will be awarded from each location, which is the Club's way to say thank you for attending the tour. All that is required is that you sign in, and that becomes your entry.

Net proceeds from this event go to send at least one high school sophomore to the much-respected HOBY, Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Seminar, founded in 1958. Because of the public's support, this past June the Club was able to provide this opportunity to two students.

Please join club members in celebrating the season as friends and neighbors open up their homes to the public.

It is a tradition that the Women's Club is proud to continue with the cooperation of homeowners.
