No wastewater on sacred peaks

My name is Malcolm Dayzie, and I am 12 years old. My clans are Red House Clan, Born For Bitter Water. My maternal clan is Bitter Water; my paternal clan is the Reed People Clan. I am an eighth grader at Shonto Middle School in Shonto,.

I am writing because I am against the Snowbowl on Dooko'oslid. I do not like the idea of putting waste on one of the four sacred mountains.

The mountain is there for a reason. It's not there for just skiing and making money. The mountain represents the first world and that's the black world when the first woman was made. Without the first world, we wouldn't be on this earth. Medicine men have a right to pray on this mountain and a right to practice their culture.

I just wanted to say thank you for taking your time reading my letter, and I hope that you are against this too.
