Hartman inducted into Winslow Rotary

Rotary International President Carl Wilhelm Stemhammar set goals for the over 33,000 Rotary clubs worldwide. One of those goals was for each club to increase its membership by one person for the year. The Rotary year began on July 1, 2005, and the Winslow Rotary Club has already exceeded Stemhammar's goal by one person. Polly Haessig, from the U.S. Forest Service, was Winslow's first new Rotarian for the year. Long-time Rotarian Pete Kretsedemas inducted her in July. Dave Hartman was inducted by Past President Dr. Greg Hackler at the November 16 Rotary meeting at the Falcon Restaurant. In attendance at that meeting were WHS students of the month for October Freshman Cassandra Jensen, Sophomore Michelle Thomas, Junior Felipe Quintana and Senior Kayla Hancock. Student Council chose these students for their excellent service to their school.
