Last week’s question asked what should be done with the site of the former municipal golf course. We received one answer from a former, yet soon-to-be-returning resident.

“Look at the web pages of any city, large or small. The first picture you see is of the golf course. If the attempt to build a golf course north of I-40 has gone to seed - then consider reviving the old golf course south of the airport. That course was active during the forties, and died out before 1950. Some may not know, but there is still an old wooden sun shade standing, that was used to clean the golf ball. That area will grow in the future.”
