NO TO THE RECALL

My wife and I do not want another recall. We believe a recall is a serious waste of money that could be better spent here in Winslow on something that would be positive.

We believe that the best place to voice your opinion about an elected official is in the voting booth.  Obviously the majority of those who voted in the last election thought these people who won, were doing a good enough job to be re-elected in spite of a recall that was going on at that time.

We support the majority vote and want “NO RECALL.”

We’ve lived in Winslow for 18 years and feel that Winslow is doing the best right now than all the years we’ve been here. We’re excited and optimistic about Winslow’s future.

We want to take this opportunity to thank our mayor and council members for their hard work. We thank our police force, our wonderful Fire Department. We thank all the business people who serve us here in Winslow. We love our church, we love our neighborhood and our friends. We love all the people of Winslow. We love living in Winslow. It’s a great place to live.

Please, “NO RECALL.” Let’s keep the positive momentum going.

JUST SAYING ‘HI’

I taught high school in Winslow and coached there from 1970-1980.

I was also the Athletic Trainer there and came in contact with all of the student athletes, and most of the students during that time.

I also remember the coaching staff and the teaching staff from that period, both in the high school, and lower grades; as my children were in school there.

Please pass on my comments to those teachers, coaches, and former students.

Those ten years were some of the most memorable of my lifetime, I think about those years and those close to me often, and wonder what they are up to now.
