Free meals during intercession
There will be free meals offered to any student aged 18 and under during the time of the upcoming Tuba City Unified School District intercession that starts on March 7 and runs through March 18. All free meals offered during this week will be served at the Tuba City Primary School Cafeteria on Main Street in uptown Tuba City. All children in this age group will be serviced whether they attend the TCUSD schools or not. All are welcome. Breakfast will run daily from 7:30-8:30 a.m. Lunch will run daily from 11:00 to 12:30 p.m. For additional information, call 928-283-1029 or 1028.

A Navajo taco sale will be held 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20 at the American Legion Hall, 204 W. Birch Ave. in Flagstaff. All proceeds benefit Tolani Lake Heritage Days.
The Northern Arizona Junior Bull Riders Association is open to youth who are under the age of 19. Event categories include Wooly Riding (6 and under), Calf Riding (8 and under), Steer Riding (11 and under), Pee-wee Bull Riding (12 and under), Junior Bull Riding (15 and under) and Senior Bull Riding (19 and under). Events are scheduled monthly. Top qualifiers represent the association at nationals in Oklahoma. Dedication in TC
There will be a blessing and dedication of the Sisters’ Convent and an additional warehouse of St. Jude Food Bank in Tuba City at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 17. Bishop Donald Pelotte, of the Diocese of Gallup, will be conducting the blessing and dedication service. The public is invited to attend.
