Maria Espinosa

Maria Judith Espinosa, 58 passed away August 14, 2005. She was born on July 26, 1947 in Torreon Coah, Mexico to Juan Perez Rivera and Rufina Valenzuela Martinez.

Our mom came to the United States at the age of 18 when she married James White. Mom taught herself to speak, read and write English. She was a wonderful, precious woman and to have known her would have been your greatest gift. She was our mother, our greatest friend and most of all, she was our guiding light.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Pentecostal Church on First Street and Alder, with a visitation and viewing from 4 to 6 at the church. A private family cremation will follow.

Survivors include her husband, Jim White; sons, John White (Sharon), Jim Adams (Annette); daughters, Mary Morgan (Clint), Debbie Gonzales (Donny), Terri Lubinski (Jack), Tammy Whities (Rob); brothers, Gustavo Crespin Perez, Victor Perez; sisters, Anjelica Perez and Maria Peralta.

Mom is also survived by her most precious grandchildren, Isaiah, Ashley, Forrest, Ty, Riley, David, Austin, Kyle, Kayla, Brianna, Alexis and Marcello; and three of the best friends anyone could have, Rosie, Mary and Marlene.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Rosario; and her son, James.

Arleen Nations

Funeral Services for Arleen Nations, 83, were held Saturday, August 13, 2005 at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Winslow Stake Center.

Arleen Nations passed away August 8, 2005 in Ogden, Utah. Arleen was born on October 8, 1921 in Franklin, Ariz., and lived in Winslow for the last 10 years.

She was active in the LDS church and very happy living in Winslow. She had a wonderful life, loved her family very much, and her family loved her. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her sister, Lora Christensen; children; Bonnie Anderson, Jack Nations and Jerry Nations. She is also survived by six grandchildren, one step-grandson and nine great-grandchildren.

Public viewing was held Friday, August 12, 2005 at Greer's Mortuary of Winslow. Interment was held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, August 13, 2005 at Citizens Cemetery in Flagstaff.
