25 Years Young & Growing

The Winslow Student Art Show began 25 years ago with about 20 pieces displayed in the front window of the Montgomery Ward store. The show has grown so large over the past quarter century that an entire gymnasium was needed to hold all the artwork this year.

For last week’s Art Show, Winslow’s kindergartners through the Class of 2005 contributed more than 2,000 individual works of art.

Instead of a ribbon for the first three places, this year the judges gave out maroon ribbons to any work they felt was exceptional.
