“The search [for water] has turned south to the C-aquifer, at a place not far from here,” Babbitt said. “I would hesitate to support this alternative without knowing the impact this use would have on Flagstaff and other surrounding communities.”

In summary, Babbitt reiterated that Native American cultural sites have a very special place in northern Arizona, and any action taken that would affect them should be carefully considered.
