TUBA CITY – The Fightin’ Knights of Greyhills Academy High School (3-1 conference) successfully warded off the Hopi High School (0-4) invasion by resorting to lance, sword and shield to setback the Bruins in area football 44-6 on Friday afternoon, Oct. 8.

The Knights, the bold and brave Defenders of the Castle, rose to meet the foe and thwarted any attempts by the Bruins to penetrate the home fortress by taking offensive moves to score 42 unanswered points until 6:17 left in the game when the Bruins finally put together a drive to make the score 42-6. The Knights’ defense continually made stop after stops holding the Bruins to three down and outs to dominate the game from the opening kick-off.
