Homecoming at Hopi: 50-plus floats<br>

POLACCA — Marissa Leslie was crowned as queen and Matt Kelley was crowned king during half time of the homecoming game Oct. 1 at Hopi High School.

Homecoming Week included a power puff game Thursday night, a hall decoration contest with the winners announced Friday morning, and the lengthy parade with more than 50 floats on Friday afternoon.

Students at the school constructed most the floats, but the community also played a large part as Head Start students and Hopi elders waltzed by as the sirens sounded.
